Ive only had a few things off the menu here but what I have come across has been DELICIOUS! To the point where I brought some home one day and now my family loves going here. We did the steak and cheese sub and it was amaaaazing. The cheese and bacon fries were great as well. The server "Teal" shes the best, always so polite. We will always return here. Only downfall is the cooks have potty mouths and we can here every word they say. lol. Great place to order pick up from on the weekends. The turkey bacon sub is great as well.

This is probably my favorite local pizza. I've only gotten take out from here, but it's always good! Last time we ordered a large Brother's Special (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers), a large sausage and pepperoni, and mozzarella sticks. The sauce, cheese, and toppings were all good and the crust was perfectly crunchy. Our order was around $45 and fed six adults. To my surprise, I called ahead on a Friday evening and the wait time was only 15 minutes... way better than the other pizza joints in town! My only complaint - no delivery!

I went to get some pizza for lunch one day. It was about noon and there were other people in the restaurant, so it was bright and there was activity. We received our pizza and it was tasty. I had ordered a pizza that had fresh mozzarella cheese and it was good. We received our bill and had our experience ended there, I would have given this place a 5 star rating, however after we were done eating and just waiting for our change, one of my coworkers seated across from me pointed to the wall next to my head. I turned and was staring right at a cockroach. It was no more than 6 inches from my face. I immediately got up to get away from it. The two of us who were waiting for change were standing near the table and before the waitress came back with our change, a second cockroach was crawling on the table. I understand that older places are bound to have bugs, but the fact that they were so over run with cockroaches to have them coming out during the middle of the day when there were people around and all the lights were on means that they had to have been crawling around in the kitchen. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PIZZA PLACE AGAIN, GROSS!

Roaches! This was our 2nd visit to Brothers. We ordered their colossal pizza - which was very fun. Unfortunately, while we were eating it, a roach ran up the wall adjacent to our booth. We told the server who just asked us if we'd killed it. We will NOT be going back!

Good tasting pizza. Large NY style slices. Affordable lunch prices. Garlic knots were delicious. Very friendly staff. Will comeback soon.

Oh my! The crab soup was good, the garlic knots were overdone, crab ravioli was undercooked and the salad was lettuce with a slice of cucumber and a slice of tomato. Our poor server was having a bad night. He arrived at our table about five minutes after we did, penless and appeared stressed over the crowd. We let him borrow a pen to take our orders (later asked for it back), found out they had no lemons for water and hadn't in quite some time, silverware was brought minutes after the soup, and no refills were offered on beverages. I guess he was a little more "off" after dropping a tray with beer bottles on it...full beers. Mess! It just wasn't a service-filled dining experience. The couple at the next table over asked to borrow our salt and pepper...we never got them back. LOL! Chalk it up to an interesting Friday night. No worries - we'll be back!

We tried the crab pizza and it was great. The colossal pizza was huge. I recommend it for lunch and dinner.

It's a local restaurant with good pizza. I went with a group of people on Wednesday night. It has a very laid back atmosphere and we had a great time chatting over the pizzas. The server was friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our pizzas to come. It was fairly empty when we went for dinner, so the place is pretty quiet, but overall not a bad place.

The pizza is excellent! Wings are also great. Service is always very attentive and I have never waited for drink refills, etc. My go to place for pizza in Charles Town.

Great pizza and friendly service! My family and I were staying in Charles Town and wanted a quick meal. In less than 10 minutes, we had a thin crust, cheese pizza to go . The pizza sauce was fresh tasting and they added just the right amount of cheese. If I lived in this area, I would frequent this restaurant .

As a transplanted New Yorker and unabashed NY pizza snob, Brothers is about as close as you can get to NY pizza, particularly in West Virginia. This has become my go-to pizza joint. If you are from NY, you've probably had better. But that isn't a knock on Brothers. It's consistently good, very fairly priced, and the owners (rightfully) take pride in their products. I live less than 1 mile from 3 pizza places, and thy all deliver. 98% of the time, however, I opt to make the 10-mile trek to Brothers. It's worth it. Rating is for Pizza only (and factors geography into he equation), although their other offerings are all solid "pizza joint" standards.

Food was priced way too high for the lower quality. First we ordered the calamari to split there was only about 8 pieces on the plate making each ring little over a dollar a piece. For dinner I ordered a sandwich and at the price of it I feel should come with fries instead of having to pay almost 3 extra dollars for a batch of barely ok generic frozen fries. Our service was sporadic at best. Food came out before salads. We never were offered refills on our drinks. Two other tables near us walked out after being unable to get service. I will never go back!

Their pizza is really good here! I wouldn't say they are what I'm used to back home but they still good. The service is quite professional but nothing above the average. I did try their cheesy bread which tasted really good as well. The presentation of it was a little like "uhh..." as the provolone cheese was slapped on the top and heated. Not too creative. I guess I'm comparing it crumbled or shredded cheese which makes one feel like "When the moon hits the sky like a round piece of pie, its L'Amore...!"

Pretty good food, but a bit pricey. Comfortable atmosphere and good service. Kids love the bacon cheese fries and order them every time we go. I would definitely recommend if you don't mind paying around $20 for a large pizza.

Best pizza outside NYC. Colossal pizza is a deal and easily feeds a family of 7. We are a DC family that vacations in harpers ferry and a weekend isn't complete without a stop at Brothers. Yum!

I love the pizza here. It's a good, thin crust style pizza. They have a really good white pizza that has ricotta cheese. It's really good. Service is good here as well. Check it out!

The first time my family ordered a pizza from Brothers, we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered the Sicilian style pizza (we are suckers for the thick crust) for 2 adults and a baby and it was HUGE. We were eating pizza for 3-4days. We normally just use the delivery option, however, I picked up a large cheese pizza last week from the restaurant and actually got to take a quick peek inside. The restaurant reminded me of great pizza joints that were around in my childhood- very family oriented, not too fancy, but still very nice. The inside was decorated with Christmas garland and ornaments (along the terrace that lines the ceiling) which I thought was cool . Oh- back the the pizza, we got a large cheese pizza and my husband proclaimed that it was the best pizza he's ever had :) It was pretty darn good and was a great price too. The guy at the register even turned down my $5 bill to spot me$0.38 from the change pool...what a sweetie! Next time, I hope to dine in!

Tony and his staff are always friendly and the food is always excellent. Brothers is the way to go for local pizza and subs.

This is the best pizza and calzone joint in the US....I've been to over 30 countries (including Italy), and would even go as far to say that this is one of the best places in the world. If you like deep dish pizza, their Sicilian style is superb. They load on the cheese, and the sauce is slightly sweet. Heaven. When I die though, my final meal of choice will be one of their calzones. They are huge, with tons of mozzaralla and ricotta cheese in the middle. The smallest size is more then enough for one person....though I dare you to try not eating all of it (my track record is zero out of at least fifty calzones). The original store in the wal-mart plaza in charles town was there way before Wal-Mart (still there, a second one is in Ransan)....its not gonna win any awards for upscale atmosphere, but if you're visiting Harpers Ferry, Shepherdstown, or the Charles Town Races, this place is well worth the drive.

Great pizza, nice atmosphere. Nothing fancy, but nice place to get together with friends and have a tasty meal. My favorite is Brothers crazy pizza with French fries and ranch dressing on top of a cheese pizza - sounds weird but very tasty although a bit pricey. Give it a try sometime.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
